BIO

I am originally from San Diego, California. Growing up, I trained professionally in various dance forms including modern, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. I graduated from UC Irvine with two Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Dance. Shortly after, my passion for fitness was ignited and I became a NASM certified personal trainer. I continued my dance career in San Diego, performing for several acclaimed choreographers. Additionally, I taught dance across the city to all ages. In February 2013, I won the first place prize in San Diego Dance Theater’s Young Choreographers Showcase. I moved to NYC in November 2013 and since 2015, I have been a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, having worked for several dance-based fitness methods. In 2017, I was selected as one of the Best Dance Fitness Instructors in New York through ClassPass. I founded Untitled Movement in January of 2019, with the intention of creating a method that was inclusive, safe, effective, and a full body artful experience. I am now back in San Diego and I am so thankful to be able to share UM with people all across the country through weekly virtual classes. I also hold an in-person class Fridays at San Diego Dance Theater and work with clients one-on-one both virtually and in-person.

Here, we move our bodies from a place of gratitude and respect, not from shame or comparison to others. We challenge and support our bodies with encouragement and patience, not guilt or fear. We are a community of genuine, authentic people who are seeking a space to feel empowered in our bodies.
