“Growing up, my relationship with my body wasn’t loving. From a young age, I rarely saw my body as something to be happy with, and I saw working out as a punishment to expel the weight I have on me.

When I graduated college and discovered Untitled Movement , I never predicted how my belief system would change so much. I am so thankful that my sister woke me up on a Sunday morning back in February 2020 when I was staying with her one weekend in New York to take me to Jess’s class. After cities shut down and I lost my job due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I turned to Untitled Movement to take me out of my funk. “This class challenges me like no other, and yet feels so so good for my body. So much joy, sweat, strength, flexibility, mobility, challenge, inspiration in every class. The movements activate so many of the muscle groups I neglect when running. Jess gives such precise, thorough instruction with individualized feedback and encouragement, I always know I’m in good hands. (And how she can do this via video, while also doing every single movement with us is amazing!) I love how I start every class thinking it’s going to be SO HARD and then every single time, I reach a moment of exhilaration where I know I’m going to DO IT!!

As someone who “can’t dance”, Jess has helped me change that mindset and feel braver flowing through the mini dance phrase at the end of class.Last but not least, we finish up with a sweet stretch and meditation - a moment of true connection thanks to Jess’ wise words.
